The out-and-back, USATF-certified course for the Indy Half Marathon at Fort Ben takes runners on a winding route through Fort Harrison State Park, a 1,700-acre park that lies just a short drive from nearby Indianapolis. They’ll run a combination of park roads and trails like the Harrison Trace Trail, and past the golf course inside the park, before heading back to where they started to cross the finish line on Lawton Loop Drive, near the Fort Harrison State Park Inn.
