Runners make their way from Redmond to Issaquah along the fast and very flat gravel surface of Washington State’s East Lake Sammamish Trail at the Lake Sammamish Half Marathon, which follows a point-to-point course that takes runners south from the starting line in Marymoor Park to Lake Sammamish State Park at the southern end of the lake, where the race finish lies.
