Runners start the Love Run along the Eakins Oval near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, near the northwestern end of Benjamin Franklin Parkway. From there, the course takes runners past Logan Square and the Philadelphia City Hall, Independence Mall and West Fairmount Park, for a stretch that unfolds for several miles along the Schuykill River. The last few miles of the race keep runners inside West Fairmount Park along MLK Drive, Black Road, Avenue of the Republic and South Concourse Street, before bringing them back to the Eakins Oval for the race finish.
