The Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Half Marathon course follows a mostly fast and flat route that takes runners away from the downtown sections of the city and past many of San Antonio’s most popular sights. The race begins near the city’s Henry Gonzalez Convention Center, along Market Street, and takes runners past the Alamo within the first couple of miles, followed by a long stretch up to Brackenridge Park. After that, runners make their way back south down Broadway and past the Alamodome before finishing at the Tower of Americas.
