Runners follow an out-and-back loop course through the hills of eastern Tennessee at the Secret City Half Marathon, which starts near Lees Shoals just off Melton Lake Drive, and takes runners out on a clockwise loop that unfold along the Oak Ridge Turnpike, Melton Lake Drive and Emory Valley Road before bringing runners back around to the Oak Ridge Rowing Association and House Boat Row for the race finish line.
