The half marathon course for this race follows an out-and-back route that parallels the winding White River here in northern Arkansas at the White River Marathon for Kenya, whose half marathon race starts at Cotter High School and finishes in the Denton RV Park, just off Denton Ferry Road. In between, there’s a fairly steep downhill to start off the race and then mostly flat terrain throughout the rest of the 13.1-miel course, with mostly only gently rolling hills throughout.
