From the race website:
We’re so excited to have Jim Peterson complete his 100th All-Out event at Beat the Heat! Jim is an amazing athlete that started running with All-Out back in 2013, and was there for milestones like the inaugural Fallfest and Mardi Crawl events. Just a hint of Jim’s awesomeness:

1st running event was on November 17, 1984
107th race overall was in 1994
2024 All-Out Spring Fever was race #2,136 overall
Join us celebrating Jim at this event!

One of Colorado’s favorite trails meets one of its most glorious parks at our 12th annual Beat the Heat, benefiting Adaptive Adventures! As courses wind southwest along Big Dry Creek Trail, the remarkable sight of Standley Lake with the Flatirons on the horizon will come into view with its Endless Series sidekick in September, Fallfest. The 80s come back to the future at Beat the Heat, with thoughts of leg warmers, scrunchies, neon colors, and Run-D.M.C… don’t miss out on the 80s costume contest!
