The Bohicket 5K and Half Marathon at Seabrook Island, SC, offers a 5K and half marathon. The course offers views of the sea island marshes, Atlantic Ocean and wildlife. The equestrian center offers interaction with local horses that have been known to run alongside the runners returning to the finish line. There are water and Gatorade stations on the course.
Proceeds from the race support the Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club and the Charleston Animal Society. There are post-run celebrations, including refreshments on the Boardwalk and an awards ceremony. Awards will be distributed across various categories, recognizing the top finishers overall, in age groups, and in master divisions.
