Featuring two and a half miles of running along the sands of Jacksonville’s beaches and an opportunity to support one of the running world’s most significant charitable fundraising efforts, the 26.2 With Donna National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer marks its 17th annual running this year.
Past years have seen more than 6,000 runners cross the finish line in all races combined — which include a full marathon, half marathon, ultra marathon and 5K — to help those fighting breast cancer today and to support research to find new ways to combat the disease. (The 5K takes place on Saturday, while the ultra marathon, half marathon and full marathon are run on Sunday.)
