This race offers an ideal opportunity to bond with nature as you run along the scenic Little Lake Harris. You’ll witness the breathtaking sunrise as you take in the serene view of the lake.
As you loop through the historic streets of Howey-in-the-Hills, you will be taken through some of the most beautiful areas in Central Florida. The half marathon, in particular, takes you through the Mission Inn Resort, where you can immerse yourself in the rich history and classic elegance of the community.
Course Description
At this race, all participants are guaranteed an accurate race timing, and a high-quality custom shirt along with their finisher’s medal. The finish line party at JB Boondock’s with a free beverage (along with plenty of snacks) make for a perfect opportunity to kick back with fellow runners and celebrate your achievements.
The race course covers a variety of terrains, from the rolling country hills on Buckhill road to the residential streets of Las Colinas. So, whether you’re a seasoned runner or a novice, you’ll find a significant challenge (and a lot of fun!) in this race.
