The Lake Norman Half Marathon Wildman & 5K, offering a half marathon and 5K, in Mooresville, NC. The course is a fast, flat one that starts and finishes at 126 Exmoor Drive. All participants get a shirt, medal, cup, and beanie. Half marathon runners get a hoodie. There are awards for the overall top three male and female finishers, as well as age group awards.
Proceeds support the Human Health Project, an organization that issues grants to local food shelters. All attendees are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item.
