This race is historic and scenic. Taking place at Lake Mead National Recreation Area, which is approximately 18 miles from Las Vegas and boasts amazing views as the largest man-made lake in the US. During the race, you’ll run on the Historic Railroad Trail, part of the Rail-to-Trails Conservancy and National Park.

Begin at the Historic Railroad Trailhead and run WEST for 2 miles before turning around and coming back the way you came. Continue onto the Historic Railroad Trail going through the 6 tunnels until you reach the turnaround at the Hoover Dam, at which point you will head back to the finish line.
