Taking place on Father’s Day Weekend for the 8th time, the Sugar Daddy Race Half Marathon, 10k, & 5k is a great event to partake in that the entire family can enjoy and celebrate.

Scenic Views, PR Chasers. Taking runners along a scenic tour through the Santa Clarita Valley, the Sugar Daddy Race is a flat, fast, and scenic course, ideal for those looking to PR.

Throughout, runners can expect to come across several notable landmarks including the historic Iron Horse Bridge as they head toward the finish line.

The half marathon begins at the Iron Horse Trailhead, passing under the McBean Parkway in pursuit of Valenica Blvd. Onward toward the Bouquet Canyon, runners cross over the Santa Clarita River toward Golden Valley Road.
At this stage, runners will turn around in a U-turn fashion to head back under Bouquet Canyon in pursuit of Bridgeport Park. Onto Decoro Drive, runners will return to the Iron Horse Bridge for the finish.
After crossing the finish line, all finishers will be awarded with a custom finisher’s medal to commemorate the experience. Finished or not, all registrants will also receive an event t-shirt and a ton of other cool swag to be determined. Trophies are awarded to the top finishers.
