Taking place just before the winter solstice, The Longest Night races are sure to keep you awake and begging for sunrise.
The longer distances—a 50M and 50K—begin in the evening on Saturday and run through the night, while the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K embark before dawn on Sunday.
Unlike traditional races, The Longest Night is a lap-by-lap elimination event. All races are held on a 1.5-mile grass path loop at the 120-acre Preserve at Lakewood. Runners will tackle a series of loops, with half marathoners completing 9 of them.
