PR Chasers, Scenic Views, Destination Race. Nearing the border of Missouri, Cotter, Arkansas is home to the world-famous White River. Lucky for participants of the event, they’ll have the opportunity to run along the famed river with scenic views to be enjoyed throughout.

Starting at Cotter Schools and ending at Cotter’s Big Spring Park, this course is NOT an out-and-back course. What it is, however, is arguably the fastest and flattest course in the United States. Runners begin running on Harding Blvd before crossing Highway 62 in pursuit of Denton Ferry Road. Runners will remain on this road as they run along White River for the majority of the course. At mile 10, it’s time to turn around to retrace their footsteps before turning onto Chamberlain Lane in pursuit of the finish line. Limited to 750 participants, this running event is moderate in size. Boasting a family-friendly atmosphere with a unique finish line Arch and a celebratory award ceremony, it’s a great day to be enjoyed by all. Even more, it’s a Boston Qualifier, so if you’re in pursuit of a PR, this course is for you.
