Welcome to the seventh (7th) annual Zionsville Half Marathon and 5k, presented by OrthoIndy, hosted in the heart of downtown Zionsville, Indianapolis!
Scenic Views, Small Towns. Journeying through picturesque downtown Zionsville and other city limit landscapes, the Zionsville Half Marathon is both scenic and approachable for beginners, weekend enthusiasts, and elite runners alike. Located in the southeast of Indianapolis, Zionsville is a quant suburb that promotes itself as a tourist attraction due, in large part, to its village-like downtown landscapes and architecture

Beginning and ending in Lions Club Park, the Zionsville Half Marathon kicks off at 8:00 a.m sharp. Starting on Hawthorne, runners quickly exit onto Main Street, journeying up toward Mulberry for the completion of the first mile. Heading up toward Oakridge, runners persist through Greenthread, turning left off of 950 E before looping around onto 875 E. From mile 7 onward, runners will journey through Spring Violet, Cobblestone, and Pebble Point Pass before exiting back onto Oak RIdge. From here, runners retrace their footsteps back toward the finish line, completing the race off of Elm Street. For all registrants, you’ll receive a high-quality blended event t-shirt, an epic finisher’s medal, a goodie bag, and during race day, a USATF certified course comprising several fully-stocked aid stations (6) and, of course, some post-race fun to celebrate! In order to remain on course and finish with an acceptable official chip time, all participants must maintain a minimum of a 16-minute/mile pace. Failure to do so will result in a DQ. Age group awards as well as the top 3 Male and Female finishers will be recognized at the post-race awards ceremony.
