The Zoom Turkey Trot Half Marathon is a Thanksgiving Day race held on the popular running, walking and biking Coyote Creek Trail in San Jose, California, and the race unfolds almost entirely along the creek that goes by the same name.
Runners will begin the out-and-back course for the race in Hellyer County Park, starting with a loop around the lake before racers cross under the highway. The trail continues south through Hellyer County Park with the Coyote Creek running parallel to the course.
Runners will make their way through Shady Oaks Park and towards Silver Creek Valley Road. The first aid station at Silver Creek will be available to racers.
As the course heads south, runners will make their way towards Silicon Valley Boulevard, home of the second aid station. Once beyond the second aid station, the trail takes runners into Metcalf Park. The creek widens a bit in this area and trail hugs the greenspace in between the water and the nearby residential neighborhoods.
